We are a growing public Company and have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team.  This position will support the Accounting team in managing/maintaining the general ledger for financial reporting purposes, assist in our ongoing compliance with Sarbanes Oxley to maintain sound internal controls over financial reporting and assist with external reporting (SEC) requirements. The position will report to the Controller and proactively and cooperatively work with the Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Manager (SOX compliance) and VP of Finance in meeting the Finance and Accounting needs and goals. 

Major responsibilities include:

Assist Accounting team in day-to-day Accounting operations and quarter end close process including review of schedules and supporting documentation

Assist with SEC reporting including forms 10-Q, 10-K and proxy statements

Assist in preparing supporting schedules for SEC forms 10-Q, 10-K and proxy statements

Assist with XBRL tagging and review of annual XBRL conversion

Cross train in other areas in Accounting

Liaise with outside auditors

Assist in US GAAP technical research and composing technical memos

Ensure compliance with US GAAP


BS in Accounting/Finance

Active CPA license

Minimum 6 years of accounting-related experience with a combination of public accounting and industry experience 

Strong grasp of US GAAP 

Experience in SEC reporting and compliance 

Working knowledge of NetSuite or other higher tier accounting system preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including a high degree of proficiency in Excel

Excellent verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills 

Ability to identify and resolve problems with sound and accurate judgment
