We are a growing public Company and have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team.  This position will support the Accounting team with a wide variety of functions which include transaction processing, financial analysis, and quarter and year-end close. The position will report to the Controller and proactively and cooperatively work with the Accounting Manager and CFO in meeting the Finance and Accounting needs and goals.


Job Duties include:

  • Process accounts payable electronic payments
  • Manage vendor payment issues and remittances with bank
  • Monitor and analyze accounts payable aging to verify payment due dates
  • Prepare form 1099’s and sales tax returns
  • Prepare payroll input in cooperation with our various payroll providers
  • Manage the workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed correctly and on time
  • Coordinate and monitor hourly employee time submissions and paid personal leaves
  • Review new employee information and process changes in payroll processing system
  • Back-up monthly and quarterly duties assigned to accounts payable and senior staff accountant
  • Execute procedures in accordance with company policies
  • May be responsible for projects or other jobs as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 2-3 years solid Payroll and Accounting experience
  • Knowledge of accounts payable processing and general accounting procedures (general ledger, period-end closing, reconciliations, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP and payroll processing software (ADP WFN)
  • Computer proficiency (Intermediate Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the company
