We are a growing, public company and have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll and Stock Administration Specialist to join our team.  The incumbent will report to the Assistant Accounting Manager and proactively and cooperatively work with Human Resources,  Accounting Manager - Internal Controls, Controller and CFO in meeting payroll and stock administration related needs and goals. 


  • Prepare payroll input in cooperation with our various payroll providers
  • Manage the workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed correctly and on time
  • Check trial and final payroll outputs 
  • Provide administrative support for 401(k) plan including preparing 401(k) funding schedules
  • Handle queries from employees, HR, Accounting, and local government offices in a timely manner
  • Responsible for completing and coordinating tax year end mailings
  • Provide administrative support during stock equity activity for stock option awards, restricted stock units (RSU) and ESPP 
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc equity and payroll reports as requested


  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years’ experience processing payroll 
  • Knowledge and experience in administering 401(k) plans
  • Knowledge and experience posting RSU stock releases, NQ and ISO options using an equity administration application such as Certent
  • Must have ADP Workforce Now payroll experience 
  • Must have knowledge in dealing with Federal, various state and local government’s different payroll taxation rules
  • Strong Excel skills 
  • GL experience preferred
  • Strong communication and business partnering skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality
  • Proven ability to constructively address problems, assume responsibility and solve problems creatively
  • Team work ethic
  • Good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Well organized, thrives in a "sense-of-urgency" environment
